What are the costs associated with selling a home?
Our fees are 7% on the first $100,000 + 2.55% on the balance. We recommend budgeting around $1,250 for lawyer or notary fees. If you're also purchasing, keep in mind Property Transfer Tax: 1% on the first $200,000, 2% on the portion from $200,000–$2,000,000, and 3% on the portion above $2,000,000. Other costs can include moving, staging, additional closing costs and repairs. We'll provide a detailed estimate of the costs you can expect.
